How to Use Instagram Highlight Viewer

On Instagram, highlights sit under the bio as small circles. Here's how to open them without an account.

  1. Step 1: Enter a username

Type the public username or paste a link to the profile, then tap Search.

  2. Step 2: Pick a highlight

The Highlights tab shows every highlight with its cover and name. Tap one to load the stories inside.

  3. Step 3: Watch or download

Play each clip on the page, or tap Download to save the photo or video to your device.

Key Features

Accounts often use highlights for menus, FAQs and their favorite stories. Here's what you can do with them.

  • Every collection in one row

See all of an account's highlights side by side, with the names the owner gave them.

  • Stories that don't expire

Highlights stay up until the owner removes them, so you can come back any time. Regular stories disappear after 24 hours.

  • Original-quality downloads

Save highlight photos and videos as the original files, instead of screenshots or screen recordings.

  • Private by design

You never sign in to Instagram here, so your name doesn't appear as a viewer and the owner isn't notified.

What Is an Instagram Highlight Viewer?

Highlights are stories an account has chosen to keep. Instead of disappearing after 24 hours, they're saved in named groups, like Travel, Menu or Reviews, that sit under the bio. An Instagram highlight viewer lets you open those groups in your browser and watch them without signing in.

They're often the most useful part of a profile. Restaurants keep menus and opening hours there, and creators save tutorials and answers to common questions. Small shops pin product demos and customer reviews, and travelers sort their trips by city. Reading them is a quick way to understand what an account is about.

StoryLurk shows the list of highlights first and only loads the stories inside one when you tap it, so the page stays fast. To see what the account posted today, use our Instagram story viewer. For their regular posts, try the Instagram post viewer. Highlights are only available for public profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the owner see that I watched their highlights?

No. You never sign in to Instagram on StoryLurk, so your name can't appear on any viewer list, and the owner gets no notification.

What's the difference between stories and highlights?

Regular stories disappear 24 hours after they're posted. Highlights are stories the owner saved to their profile, and they stay there until the owner deletes them.

Why doesn't a profile show any highlights?

Either the account hasn't made any yet, or it's private, and StoryLurk only shows highlights from public accounts. For a public profile with no highlights, the Instagram profile viewer still shows the bio, stats and full-size photo.

Can I download a whole highlight at once?

Not in one click. Each story inside a highlight has its own Download button, so you save them one at a time. Photos download as image files and videos as MP4.

Do you keep a record of the highlights I watch?

No. We don't save what you search or watch. We keep a short-term copy of public content for a few hours so pages load faster, but it isn't tied to you.

Can I watch highlights on my phone?

Yes. StoryLurk works in any up-to-date mobile browser, like Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. Videos play right on the page, and downloads go to your phone's Downloads folder or the Files app.

Highlights are where accounts keep their favorite stories for good, and StoryLurk makes them easy to open. Search a public username, tap a highlight, and watch or download every clip without logging in. It's a quick way to check a restaurant's menu, a creator's tutorials or a shop's reviews without following anyone. For stories from the last 24 hours, go back to our Instagram story viewer. It works the same way: no account, nothing saved about your searches, and private accounts stay private.
