These terms apply when you use storylurk.com, including the Instagram story viewer and our other tools. By using StoryLurk, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What StoryLurk is
StoryLurk is a free website that shows content from public Instagram accounts and lets you download it for personal use. It's an independent service and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. It only works with public accounts and doesn't give access to private accounts or paid content. You don't need an account to use it, and we'll never ask for your Instagram login. Acceptable use
- Use StoryLurk only for legal, personal and non-commercial purposes.
- Don't use it to harass, stalk, threaten or track anyone, or to collect personal information about people.
- Don't re-post, sell or republish content you view or download unless you have the owner's permission or another legal right to do so.
- Don't use bots or scripts to pull data from StoryLurk, try to get around our usage limits, or build another product on top of it.
- Don't try to break, overload or hack StoryLurk or the services it relies on.
- Don't use StoryLurk if you're under 13, or under the minimum age for online services in your country.
We may block anyone who breaks these rules.
Content and intellectual property
Photos, videos and other content on StoryLurk belong to the people who posted them. We don't own that content and can't give you any rights to it. Being able to download something doesn't mean you can reuse it. You're responsible for respecting copyright in anything you save.
The StoryLurk name, logo, design and site text belong to us. Please don't copy them without permission.
Removal and copyright requests
Do you own a public account that you don't want on StoryLurk? Or do you think content shown here infringes your rights? Email support@storylurk.com with the details. We'll review your request and, where appropriate, block the account from StoryLurk.
Availability and accuracy
StoryLurk is free and provided "as is" and "as available". What you see depends on what account owners post and on outside services. Some accounts or posts may be missing, out of date or temporarily unavailable. We may change, limit or stop any part of the service at any time.
Third-party services and links
StoryLurk uses outside companies for hosting, temporary storage and looking up public content. We're not responsible for their availability or for the content they provide. Links to other websites, such as a website listed in someone's bio, are there for convenience only. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.
Suspension of access
We may block or end access to StoryLurk for anyone who breaks these terms. The same goes for anyone who uses the site in a way that could harm the service, other visitors or account owners.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
In plain terms: StoryLurk is free, so we can't promise it will always work or that every account will be available. We also aren't responsible for how you use what you find here. The legal wording is below.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryLurk makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryLurk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or of content obtained through it.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. In short: no accounts, no search history and no request for your Instagram login.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using StoryLurk after a change, you accept the updated terms.
