How to Use Instagram Post Viewer

Three taps and no sign-in. Nothing about your search is saved.

  1. Step 1: Enter a username

Type the account's username or paste a link to their profile, then tap Search.

  2. Step 2: Open the Posts tab

Recent posts show up in a grid: photos, videos and carousels (posts with several photos). Swipe a carousel sideways to see each slide.

  3. Step 3: Download

Tap Download under a photo or video. Carousels have a numbered button for each slide, so you can save only the ones you want.

Key Features

Everything you'd normally see on a post, without signing in.

  • The full post, not a thumbnail

Photos open at full size, and videos play right on the page.

  • Every carousel slide

Posts with several photos show every slide in order, and each slide has its own download button.

  • Captions and context

See the caption, when it was posted, and the like and comment counts if the account shows them.

  • Nothing tied to you

Your Instagram account isn't involved, so you can't like, follow or comment by accident, and the owner can't see that you visited.

What Is an Instagram Post Viewer?

An Instagram post viewer lets you browse the posts on a public profile, including photos, videos and carousels, on a normal web page. Instagram's website often asks you to log in after a few scrolls, and the app shows nothing without an account. A post viewer loads the public posts for you, so you can look through them without signing in.

It's handy for checking a brand's latest campaigns or saving a recipe or workout someone shared. You can also look at a creator's work before contacting them, or scroll back through an account without following it. Posts don't disappear the way stories do. For stories that vanish after a day, use our Instagram story viewer.

Want to check the account first? The Instagram profile viewer shows the bio, follower count and full-size profile photo. Everything StoryLurk shows is already public. Private accounts can't be opened, and we don't save the usernames you look up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see posts from a private account?

No. StoryLurk only shows public posts. If an account is private, you'll see a short notice instead, and we don't try to get around Instagram's privacy settings.

Will the account owner know I looked at their posts?

No. Instagram doesn't tell people who views their posts, and StoryLurk never uses your account, so nothing links the visit to you. Read how the anonymous Instagram viewer keeps it that way.

How many posts can I see?

You'll see the account's most recent posts, usually the latest 12, in the same order as on their profile.

Can I download every photo in a carousel?

Yes. Each slide has its own numbered Download button, so you can save one photo or all of them. Videos in a carousel download as MP4 files.

Do I need to log in or install anything?

No. StoryLurk works in your browser and never asks for your Instagram username or password. It works on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers.

Can I see the comments or who liked a post?

No. You'll see like and comment counts when the account shows them, but not the comments themselves or the list of people who liked the post.

StoryLurk's post viewer gives you a quick, login-free look at a public account's posts. You get photos, videos and carousels with captions and dates, ready to download in full quality. For what the account shared in the last 24 hours, start with our free Instagram story viewer. Then come back here for the posts they keep on their profile. You don't need an account or an app, we don't keep a record of who you looked up, and private profiles stay private.
